Every wedding (and photo session) is unique, so I cannot promise an exact number of images. However, know that you will be receiving all images that are deliverable! The only ones I leave out are duplicates, blurry or incorrectly exposed images, and ones where someone blinked or something like that. Typically you will receive 80-100 photos per hour of wedding coverage, and 40-80 per hour for regular portrait sessions (engagement, senior, family). I definitely want to give you every image I can!
The only exception to this is mini sessions, for which you will be promised an exact number of images with the option to purchase additional images if you choose.
The short answer is no; RAW images are what come straight out of my camera, and most of the time require some editing work before they look like something you will want to see. To that end, I only want to deliver images that are my very best work for you, so I will not deliver RAW images. See below for an example!
I totally get it! Weddings are expensive and photography can feel like just another thing you have to pay for. I'm here to tell you that finding a photographer that you really click with, both in personality and style, will pay off ENORMOUSLY!
I do not offer discounts, and this is for a couple reasons. First, and most important is that you never have to wonder if you could have gotten a better price if you booked with me at a different time. Second, I feel that I price my services fairly, and it would be a disservice to my work to over- or under-charge for it!
What makes photography (and wedding photography in particular) come with such a high price tag? First is time. While I may only be with you for your 1 hour session or 8 hour wedding day, a lot of time goes into both prepping for your session and work post session. Second, is equipment and education. I have gear not only to capture your day, but backup gear to make sure that your most precious moments will be remembered. I invest regularly in my education to make sure that I can provide a better and better experience to you, from formal photography classes to business education. On top of all that, photographers and artists deserve to earn a fair and livable wage for their hard work!
If you really love my work and price is a barrier, I am more than happy to come up with a payment plan that works for you!
Awesome! I shoot with Canon 5D Mark III camera bodies and mostly prime lenses. I will use off-camera flash only when natural lighting isn’t enough.
Great question! I have never missed a wedding to date, but if there is an emergency or I fall ill, I will have a comparable and capable colleague cover your wedding day. Your images will still be edited and delivered by me.
Ah yes! The most exciting part (besides the wedding, of course!) is the final gallery delivery!! Sneak peeks are available within a few days so you can enjoy some photographs right away while I perfect the rest of your images! For engagement and other portrait sessions, you can expect your final gallery within two weeks of your session. For weddings, your final images will be delivered 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding day.
Images will be delivered in a digital gallery, from which you can download to mobile and desktop, print, and share images. I do not watermark the images, so the only thing I ask is that you tag me in images you post on the internet/social media. This helps me find more amazing clients like you!
I would not want my images watermarked as a client, so I do not watermark the final images that I deliver. Instead, I kindly ask that JKP is tagged or credited if images I deliver are shared online. That way, I can find more amazing clients like you!
Yes! I love helping couples build a comfortable and comprehensive timeline to make sure that you get all the photos you need of your big day! I’m here to help you plan everything from getting ready to dancing away at the end of the night!
100% yes yes yes all day! Intimate weddings are so joyful and I would be absolutely honored to capture your day for you!
I’ve got your back! I will send you a style guide with some suggestions and tips once you’re all booked up!
